Eclectic Fuji musician, Alhaji Abass
Akande popularly known as Obesere has completed plans to shoot a
blockbuster movie on rape. The Fuji singer who was recently hit by a
rape scandal is taking the advantage of the situation by turning it
into a film.
According to HVP findings,
Obesere has written a script about rape and is currently shopping for
artistes who will fit into the characters. It is not yet certain if
the famous musician will be starring in the movie, but prominent
artistes are sure to take the lead in the movie. Unconfirmed reports
also have it that a total sum of N20 million has been budgeted for
the project.
Further digs revealed that the movie is
to expose men and women who blackmail people with rape scandal and to
picture tricks and methods used by rapists. Explaining further,
Obesere’s publicist, Deola Adeoti added that “the movie is
targeted at unraveling the mystery behind the rape scandal.”
“A whole lot of things have been read
and said about him in the past few weeks, but I think this movie will
tell the world the plain truth.
“Apart from his own experience,
Alhaji Obesere is also aware of some men who had been blackmailed
with this same scandal and he felt that it is high time he exposes
some of these women of evil.”
Adeoti also mentioned that plans are
in top gear concerning the movie and any moment soon they would be
hitting choice locations for the recording.
