Not many knew comic actor, John Okafor
a.k.a Mr. Ibu also has a bit of Antoine Griezmann and Cristiano
Ronaldo’s skills in him. The actor has often demonstrated he’s a
lover of soccer, but not shown himself on the pitch dazzling and
using the ball at random. Interestingly, earlier in the week, the
famous actor took to the pitch, as he displayed his spirit of
sportsmanship by hosting a novelty match to mark his 56th birthday
anniversary.
The match, which held at the Nnamdi
Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, saw Mr. Ibu’s colleagues taking on The All
Stars FC of Enugu in a crucial game that ended 3-2 in favour of The
All Stars FC. Those that were in the pitch with Mr. Ibu were Pawpaw and stand up comedian, I
Go Die.The birthday bash climaxed with an all-night party at the VillaToscana hotels, Enugu, with popular gospel
artiste,Felix Ndukwe singing birthday songs for the birthday boy. The
birthday celebration, according to our source, climaxed with a visit
to the abandoned children’s home, in the coal city, where Mr. Ibu
showed love to the children. But come to think of it, is Mr. Ibu
really 56?
